Terms of Service

1. Purpose

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of the service that converts PDF bank statements into Excel or CSV files (the “Service”), accessible via the website. By using the Service, you accept these Terms without reservation.

2. Publisher

The Service is published by Walid El Omari, registered as a sole trader in Morocco. Legal identifiers (ICE, IF) are provided on request and are being finalized as of the date above. Contact: contact@walidelomari.com.

3. Service description

The Service offers two tiers:

• Tier 0 (free): local conversion in the browser, supported banks listed on the home page. No data is sent to our servers.
• Tier 1 (paid): conversion using artificial intelligence (Anthropic Claude) for any bank. The PDF is sent to our servers only for the duration of processing.

4. User account

Using Tier 1 requires creating an account through Clerk. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential. Any activity carried out from your account is deemed to be performed by you.

5. Pricing and payment

Prices are listed on the Pricing page. Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, acting as Merchant of Record. Paddle handles applicable VAT based on your country.

Launch pricing: users who subscribe during the launch period keep their initial price as long as their subscription remains active without interruption.

6. Quotas and limits

Tier 1 includes 20 AI conversions per month. Beyond that, additional requests are refused until the next cycle. Tier 0 is limited to 2 conversions per day per IP address to prevent abuse; this quota may change.

Three free AI conversions per user per month are offered without a subscription (rolling 30-day window).

7. Conversion accuracy

The Service is provided “as is”. Although parsers and AI models are regularly tested, no guarantee of absolute accuracy is given. An editable table lets you correct any data before export. The user alone is responsible for verifying the exported data before any accounting, tax, or legal use.

8. Availability

We strive for maximum availability, without warranty. The Service may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or force majeure, without prior notice or compensation.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Submit documents that do not belong to you or for which you have no authorization
• Attempt to bypass quotas, authentication, or billing
• Automate use of the Service beyond published limits without written agreement
• Use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or money-laundering purposes

Any breach leads to account suspension without refund.

10. Intellectual property

The code, design, trademarks, and all elements of the Service remain our exclusive property. The data you process through the Service remains your property.

11. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you, across all heads of damages combined, is capped at the amounts actually paid over the last twelve months. The Service specifically excludes any liability for data loss, conversion errors, or tax consequences.

12. Changes to the Terms

We may amend the Terms at any time. Registered users will be notified by email of substantial changes. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

13. Termination

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your customer portal. Access remains active until the end of the paid period. See Refund policy.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Moroccan law. Any dispute falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Casablanca, except for any mandatory consumer-protection provisions.
